Abstract
This study discusses the effect of audiovisual media on student learning outcomes in fifth grade science subjects in Daarul Aitam MI Palembang. This study was also to determine the effect of student learning outcomes on science subjects in experimental class and control class. Experimental class that applies audiovisual media and control classes that media do not apply. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class science subjects after applying audiovisual media. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research used experimentally is true experimental design, namely posttest-only control design. The population in this study were all students of class V which amounted to three classes with sampling techniques namely purposive sampling technique (intentional), with the number of students 60 people in class VB 30 and class VC 30 people. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation, test, and documentation methods. Meanwhile, analysis of test data using the t-test. Based on the research data it is known that the average score of the students' IPA post-test using audiovisual media is higher than the average value of the IPA post-test that does not use media. That is, on average in the experimental class 86, the presentation of student learning outcomes obtained a high score of 9 students (30%), while the moderate score was 16 students (53%), and a low score of 5 students (17%). While the average score of the IPA post-test in the control class was 50, the presentation of student learning outcomes that obtained a high score of 2 students (6.67%), students who received a moderate score of 23 students (76.7%), students who obtained low score of 5 students (16.75%). From the results of the t test which is greater than ttable at the level of 5% and level 1%, namely 2.01 <22.25> 2.66. Then, an alternative hypothesis is accepted with a null hypothesis rejected. So that it can be concluded that there is an effect of the influence of audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of students of fifth grade science subjects in Daarul Aitam MI Palembang. Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V di MI Daarul Aitam Palembang. Penelitian ini juga untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan media audiovisual dan kelas kontrol yang tidak diterapkannya media. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas eksperimen setelah menerapkan media audiovisual. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen adalah true-experimen design yaitu posttest- only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah tiga kelas dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik Purposive Sampling (sengaja), dengan jumlah siswa 60 orang kelas VB 30 dan kelas VC 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan, analisis data tes menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai post-test IPA siswa yang menggunakan media audiovisual lebih tinggi dari rata-rata nilai post-test IPA yang tidak menggunakan media. Yaitu rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen 86, presentasi hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh skor tinggi 9 orang siswa (30%), sedangkan skor sedang 16 orang siswa (53%), dan skor rendah 5 orang siswa (17%). Sedangkan rata-rata nilai post-test IPA dikelas kontrol yaitu 50, presentasi hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh skor tinggi 2 orang siswa(6,67%), siswa yang memperoleh skor sedang 23 orang siswa (76,7%), siswa yang memperoleh skor rendah 5 orang siswa(16,75%). setelah melihat hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh dengan menggunakan media audiovisual, dengan adanya pengaruh tersebut berarti ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya media. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 yang diajukan ditolak, dan Ha diterima. Artinya ada pengaruh media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di MI Daarul Aitam Palembang.
