Abstract

This research has been done entitled Influence of Implementation of Guided Inquiry Learning Model in Improving Student's Scientific Attitude on Focus of Concept Fungi Class X SMA Nadhatul Ulama (Nu) Palembang. According to Kunandar (2011), inquiry learning is a form of learning where students are encouraged to learn through their own active engagement with their own concepts and principles. Scientific attitude is the tendency of individuals to act or behave in solving a problem systematically through the steps ilmia (Dewi, et al 2014). This research design using Nonequivalent Control Group Design with Quasi Experimental method (quasi experiment). The samples were 72 students. Based on the results of students' scientific attitude analysis shows that the implementation of learning using guided inquiry learning model is better than Direct Intruction (DI) learning model. This can be seen from the calculation of t�test of students' scientific attitude shows as sig titung 0.001 <0.05 then Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The result of the analysis showed that the scientific attitude of the experimental class was 76.6% while the students 'attitude of the control class was 59.2%, meaning that the students' scientific attitude was higher than the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model influences the scientific attitude of the students of grade X SMA Nadhatul Ulama (NU) of Palembang. Suggestions for further research should be done more research on the scientific attitude of learners using other learning models and other concepts.
