Abstract
There are some souls which are contained in randu and lime leaves are expected to accelerate the growth of rabbit fur. In this research used randu and lime leaves extracts, and their combinations to accelerate the growth of rabbit fur. The objectives of this research was find out the effect of combination randu and lime leaves extract and which of the treatment which gives the most excellent activity. The results of the research will be applied to the experimental method for increasing the students learning outcome at school for the biotechnology subject. Randu and lime leaves extracts obtained by maceration method using ethanol 70%, and then were mixed to give 3 combinations, 1:1, 1:2 and 2:1 (proportion of randu and lime leaves extract), NR hair tonic (Production Ikapharmindo Putramas) was used as positive control in this research, beside that for the study of applying the experimental method at school it was used t-test for analyzing students learning outcome. Result showed that the activity of combinations 1:2 and 2:1 have better than activity extracts sole and combination 1:2 gave the best result, the result analysis used t-test, it was obtained 87,42 for experimental method and 59,55 for the conventional method. From this study it was found that experimental method could increase the students learning outcome. Key words: randu leaves, lime leaves, hair tonic, experimental methods, learning outcomes
