Abstract
This study aims to build an Sistem Informasi Permohonan Publik Pada Pejabat Pengelola Informasi Dan Dokumentasi (PPID) Kota Palembang, In order to make it easier for employees to do their jobs, namely managing user data, The applicant's data, sends the file request for public information and this system as a means of returning the decision of the head of the PPID in the process of requesting information and statement of objection from the applicant. In this system the head of the PPID can view the report and print the applicant's report and information request report.This system provides information about how many requests and information objections every month in graphical form. In addition, this system can also provide graphical information on how many applicants are seen of each month. System development methods used are waterfall and testing methods using blackbock testing. The analysis and design tools used are Data Flow Diagram (DFD), And database design uses entity relationship diagram (ERD). Information system for PPID in Palembang city can be used as a material for returning the decision of the head of the PPID in the process of requesting public information.
