Abstract

This aim of study is to know wether there is the impact of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) models to the ability of students mathematical concept abilities at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang .This research was experimental and design used Postest-Only Control. The sample this study was the whole students in IX-UI grade totaling 30 students as the experimental class and IX-U6 grade totaling 28 students as control class. Sampling was done using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument was given in the form of a test with the type of description as many as 7 questions.
