Abstract

This research is an R & D (Research and Development) which aims to find out validity and student responses towards Problem Solving chemistry worksheet on electrolyte solvent and non electrolyte solvent matrial. The developemtn procedure of this research adopts Borg & Gall model until the seventh stage. This research involves four validators who are 2 material expert validators, 1 design/media expert, and 1 language expert. The small scale testing and medium scale testing subjects are learners of MAN 2 Palembang. The technique of data collection using observation, interview guidelines, documentation, validation sheet, and learner responses questionnaire. The result of this research shows that problem solving-based student worksheet on electrolyte solvent and non electrolyte solvent material obtained percentage from material experts 93% with category very decent, from design/media expert obtained percentage of 82% with category very decent and language expert obtained percentage of 90% with category very decent. The average percentage value of the three validators is 88% with a very decent category. The response of students to problem solving based student worksheet on electrolyte and non electrolyte solvent materials can be categorized very well, in small-scale trials obtaining a percentage value of 93% with very good categories, in medium scale trials obtaining a percentage of 94% and said to be very interesting.
