Abstract
In this day and age, computer information technology is a necessary subject in the world of education. In the attachment to the regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia number 103 of 2014, related to the principle of learning (point 12) it is stated that to achieve the quality that has been designed and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning, learning activities need to use the principle of utilizing Information Technology (Kemendikbud: 2014). Therefore, all elementary and secondary schools need to improve the ability of teachers and students to use Information Technology in learning, especially students because in high school there are many tasks that require Information Technology skills, so this community service program is a collaboration between UIN students Raden Fatah Palembang and the Timbangan Village community carried out an introduction to the basic knowledge of Computer Information Technology to the children of TPA Az-zahra Masjid Al Anshor Rt.05 Lk.03 Kelurahan Timbangan. This activity uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation, and the learning method is a demonstration method for children.
