Abstract

This study aims to produce an effective multisensory-based complete learning approach to improve the writing skills of grade 2 students at MI Nurul Huda, East OKU Regency. This development research (R&D) goes through the stages of needs analysis, planning for the development of a multisensory based complete learning approach, initial product development / draft 1, design validation and revision, testing and design revision. The results showed: (1) the product developed was a draft learning approach design that had 3 steps, namely dividing the material into three units, making corrections in the learning process, and evaluating to determine the final results of each learning unit that had been taught. The media and learning methods used take into account the visual, audio, kinesthetic and graphical sensory aspects of the students. (2) The average test score of 25 students before using the developed learning approach was 71, while after using the developed learning approach the average score of students was 87.While the paired sample t test obtained a significance of 0.000 less than the 0.05 significance level . Thus the learning approach developed is effective and feasible to use.
