Abstract
The aim of this research was to to find out the difficulties faced by English students’ in doing listening comprehension of TOEFL test at English Education Study Program of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The quantitative method, spesifically descriptive study was used in this study. The participants of this study were 30 students of eight semester of English Education study program academic year 2018 were chosen by using purposeful sampling technique. The data obtained from test were analyzed by using descriptive statistic calculated by Ms. Excel. The result of this study found difficult aspects faced by English Students in doing listening comprehension of TOEFL test. The result showed that the most difficult part in listening comprehension is part C (talks) with 53% and there are six difficult aspects in listening comprehension such as passive, double negative expression, expression of emphatic surprise, untrue condition, expression of agreement, and identifying detail information.
