Abstract
This study aims to assist Sjakhyakirti in assessing the feasibility of IS by analyzing the costs and benefits as a reference in the evaluation of the higher education information system (SIDIKTI) and as an illustration in the further development of the IS. Based on the existing problems, Sjakhyakirti is ambiguous in making decisions to upgrade to SIDIKTI, because the benefits and feasibility of SI on the system have not been measured, causing the agency to find it difficult to know what benefits have been obtained and whether the information system that has been implemented is feasible and appropriate. in accordance with the strategic objectives of the institution. Information Economics (IE) is an analytical tool that serves to measure the benefits and feasibility of an information system. Besides being able to measure ROI and direct benefits (tangiable), Information Economics (IE) can also measure indirect benefits (intangible) through business and technology domain approaches. The final score of the SIDIKTI implementation of 56.8 is included in the "good" category, which means the system is feasible and provides benefits.
