Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of household waste management strategy policies in Kelekar District, Muara Enim Regency. For this research, using qualitative methods and the type of research is a descriptive case study. While the data used are primary data from interviews and observations, secondary data from journals, books, websites, and laws related to research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The theory from George C, Edward III, policy implementation consists of four factors in policy implementation, namely communication, resources, position. The results of the study on the implementation of household waste management strategy policies. Communication, the Regent of Muara Enim did not socialize the mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 97 of 2017 in the household waste management strategy through Regent's Regulation Number 43 of 2018 in the Kelekar District Government. The resources of the absence of a special team for handling waste in Kelekar District and the waste infrastructure facilities were not met by the Regent of Muara Enim as the regional head. The disposition of the implementers is still not good, from the Regent of Muara Enim, the Environment Service and the Kelekar District Government.
