Abstract
Liquid fertilizer is a fertilizer that is made naturally through a fermentation process so as to produce a solution of decay from organic materials derived from organic matter, animal waste, and human waste. This study aims to determine whether the application of organic fertilizer from wuluh starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) affects the growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) and to determine what concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from wuluh starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) has an optimal effect. on the growth of mustard (Brassica juncea L.). This research was conducted in Burai village, Tanjung Batu district, Ogan Ilir district in August-September 2021. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments in this study were P0 (control), P1 (50 ml/L), P2 (75 ml/L), and P3 (100 ml/L). Data were analyzed by one way ANOVA followed by Duncan's further test at a significant level of 5%. The results showed that liquid organic fertilizer from star fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) affected the growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) on certain parameters, namely plant height, number of leaves, wet weight, and dry weight. Treatment P3 (100 ml/L) showed the best results. Keywords: POC, Wuluh star fruit, Mustard greens
