Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the target cultural content represented in “Bahasa Inggris” textbooks published by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. The design of this study was descriptive qualitative research, particularly textbooks content analysis.170 pages English textbook with eight chapters and enrichment was examined by the researcher. To investigate target cultural categories was utilized to analyze the sentences and images. Sentences analysis, the results were 61.29% for products, 8.06% for practices, and 30.64% for perspectives. Pictures analysis, the results ofall of pictures wareproduct dimansions. There were no pictures for perspective dimansions and practice dimensions.
