Abstract
ABSTRACT Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens is part of a low-lying expanse which is dominated by a very broad lebak swamp, this condition causes the plant species in it to be unique and it is estimated that the area is up to 100 hectares located in Bakung village, North Indralaya sub-district, Ogan Ilir district, South Sumatra province. One of the plants that can be found is from the Zingiberaceae and Rutaceae families. The Zingiberaceae family is a family of spice plants that are commonly found in the Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens, this type of plant has rich benefits for the community, such as being often used as medicinal ingredients, cooking spices, ornamental plants and hair medicine ingredients. As for the Rutaceae family, this is a family of citrus plants that are spread throughout Indonesia, which are rich in benefits for humans and contain content such as vitamin C, folate, fiber which are very useful in the treatment of diseases in humans.
