Abstract
ABSTRACT Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Romadhon uses an interpersonal communication approach in shaping the disciplined character of students, especially ustadz and. cleric. The most important thing in character building is to emphasize discipline and teach responsibility. Discipline and responsibility are practiced in the 5 daily obligatory prayers. This study uses qualitative research and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using field observations, indepth interviews and documentation. The theory used in this research is the theory of interpersonal communication approach and the interpersonal communication strategy of Miller and Stainberg. Namely the strategy of unraveling carrots, hanging swords and catalysts. Using the approach of cultural analysis, sociological analysis and psychological analysis. The result of this research is the process of interpersonal/interpersonal communication between caregivers and students in shaping character using three analyzes, namely analysis, sociological analysis, and psychological analysis. From this approach, Ustadz and Ustadz have a strategy in carrying out this approach, namely the unraveled carrot strategy that uses praise as student motivation, the sword strategy depends on the sanctions given by Ustadz and Ustadz for students who violate and catalytic theory such as being given advice or advice by Ustadz and Ustadz da'da pray and recite. From the strategy used, there are obstacles that occur, namely, santri families who have less harmonious families tend to be difficult to direct, innate behavior from outside the boarding school environment is very influential and has a negative impact, lack of confidence, and the formation of the character of students. ABSTRAK Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Romadhon menggunakan pendekatan komunikasi interpersonal dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin santri khususnya ustadz dan ustadzah. Hal terpenting dalam pembentukan karakter yaitu menekankan kedisiplinan dan mengajarkan tanggung jawab. Kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab itu dipraktekkan dalam sholat wajib 5 waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori pendekan komunikasi antarpribadi dan strategi komunikasi antarpribadi Miller dan Stainberg. Yaitu strategi wortel terurai, pedang tergantung dan katasilator. Menggunakan pendekatan analisis kultural, analisis sosiologis dan analisis psikologis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah proses komunikasi interpersonal/antarpribadi pengasuh dan santri dalam membentuk karakter mengunakan tiga analisis, yakni analisis, analisis sosiologi, analisis psikologis. Dari pendekatan ini ustadz dan ustadzah mempunyai strategi dalam melakukan pendekatan tersebut, yakni strategi wortel terurai yang menggunakan pujian sebagai motivasi santri, strategi pedang tergantung sebagai sanksi yang diberikan ustadz dan ustadzah bagi santri yang melanggar dan teori katasilator seperti diberikan nasehat atau wejangan oleh ustadz dan ustadzah da’da sholat dan mengaji. dari strategi yang digunakan terdapat hambatan yang terjadi yaitu keluaraga santri yang memiliki keluarga yang kurang harmonis cendrung susah di arahkan, perilaku bawaan yang dari uar lingungan pondok pesantren sangalah mempengaruhi dan membawa dampak negatif, kurangnya percaya diri, dan pembentukan karakter santri.
