Abstract
ABSTRACT Name : Putri Agusriana Study Programme / Faculty : Islamic Psychology / Psychology Title :"The Meaning of Life for The Elderly Living In Elderly Care Noor Fatimah Palembang". This study discusses the Meaning of Life in the Elderly Who Live in Elderly Care Noor Fatimah Palembang. In this study the method used is the qualitative method of phenomenonology.The subjects in this study amounted to 3 women, with criteria as elderly people living in Noor Fatimah Palembang Boarding Care for approximately 3 years. Elderly people who live far away from family and with different back grounds. Furthermore, the methods of data collection in this study are interviews, observations and documentation.The meaning of the life of the elderly who live in the Elderly Day care can be realized by accepting circumstances that are not with the biological family in their old age. And believe that every difficulty afterwards there will definitely be the ease that God gives, and there is the spirit to live the rest of his life better. And be grateful for everything that happens in life.The results showed that the meaning of life in the three subjects is where the three subjects are able to go through every life journey that has been lived and that will be lived patiently and sincerely. And will spend the rest of the age of the subject by worshiping and getting closer to Allah SWT. Keywords: Meaning of Life, Elderly, Elderly Care.
