Abstract
Indonesian lightwood export in 2020 are valued at 1,74 billion United States dollar. Wood from durian is a type of lightwood, but is easily attacked by termites. This research was conducted to determine the activity extract of Sungkai leaves (Peronema canescens) on durian wood against termites (Coptotermites curvignathus). The test is carried out by measuring the reduction in the weight of the wood and the obtained LC50 value of termite mortality. LC50 value of sungkai leaf extract activity consecutively, namely, wood soaking with a duration of 2 hours > 1 hour with a consecutive LC50 value of 1.39462%; 3.33503% as well as the lowest reduction in wood weight at an extract concentration of 4 % soaking duration of 2 hours.
