Abstract

inheritance law is a subset of family law. as we know that the family is formed from a collection of individuals, because human are God's creatures who re generaly in groups. humans always need others as social beings. inheritance law in Indonesia is not monolism but pluralism in the legal system. this happened because of the development and peaceful entry of islam and the inclusion of the Dutch Colonialists in Nusantara. that is why the three inheritance laws are recognized by the Indonesian State of its validity, its just that its development has ups and down following the political developments in Indonesia.
