Abstract
ABSTRAK Nama : Andrean Saputra NIM : 1820403020 Program Studi : Ilmu Perpustakaan/2022 Judul Skripsi : Analisis Usia Paro Hidup dan Keusangan Literatur Pada Jurnal SainMatika Terbitan Fakultas SAINTEK Universitas PGRI Palembang Tahun 2017 – 2021 xix+82+lampiran Penelitian ini membahas tentang usia paro hidup dan keusangan literatur jurnal ilmiah. Paro hidup adalah perkiraan kualitas kedaluwarsa karya ilmiah Karena usia paro hidup terhubung dengan perhitungan tengah, individu tertentu menggunakan istilah setengah usia hidup untuk mendekati usia paro hidup referensi, sedangkan keusangan adalah tingkat kegunaan suatu literatur dalam penulisan karya ilmiah berikutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan usia paro hidup dan juga mengetahui tingkat keusangan literatur artikel jurnal SainMatika terbitan Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi (SAINTEK) Universitas PGRI Palembang tahun 2017 - 2021 Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif jenis teknik total sampling atau seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Sementara sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh sitiran pada jurnal SainMatika Terdapat 105 artikel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa usia paro hidup sitiran Jurnal SainMatika tahun 2017 -2021 adalah sebesar 8,05 tahun dengan jumlah sitiran baru sebanyak 1294 atau sebesar 79% dan jumlah sitiran usang sebanyak 341 atau sebesar 21%. Dengan tahun sitiran terbaru adalah tahun 2021 dan tahun sitiran terlama adalah tahun 1910. Hal ini membuktikan Jurnal SainMatika memiliki artikel yang memuat informasi-informasi mutakhir juga dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan referensi yang relevan karena sebagian besar sitirannya adalah sitiran yang baru atau up to date. Half-life is an estimate of the quality of the obsolete scientific work. Because half-life is connected to the calculation of the middle, certain individuals use the term half-life to approximate the reference half-life, whereas obsolescence is the degree of usefulness of a piece of literature in writing subsequent scientific works. The purpose of this study was to determine the half-life and also to find out the obsolescence of the literature for the journal SainMatika published by the Faculty of Science and Technology (SAINTEK) PGRI Palembang University in 2017 - 2021. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research with the type of total sampling technique or all the population is used as a sample. While the sample in this study were all citations to the journal SainMatika. There were 105 articles. The results of this study indicate that the half-life of citations of the Jurnal SainMatika in 2017-2021 is 8.05 years with 1294 new citations or 79% and 341 village citations or 21%. With the latest citation year being 2021 and the longest citation year being 1910. This proves that the SainMatika Journal has articles that contain up-to-date information that can also be used as relevant reference material because most of the citations are new or up to date citations.
