The practice system of discounting in member cards that occurred at the Rabbani Plaju Store in Palembang was considered to be contrary to the value of shari'ah, the assumption was conveyed by Dr. Oni Sahroni, who is the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council, said that discount cards with periodic fees and membership fees are not allowed in Islam because there is an element of gharar. The formulation of the problem in this thesis are: 1) How is the practice of discounting the member card atthe Rabbani Plaju Store Palembang? 2) How is the sharia economic law on the practice of discounting in member cards at the Rabbani Plaju Store Palembang?. This research method is field research and the method of the type of data used is qualitative. The population in this study were member card users at the Rabbani Plaju Store Palembang and the samples used were 8 people. Data collection techniques are carried out by field studies and literature studies. The data collected was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study are that the practice of discounting the member card at the Rabbani Plaju Store if you have registered, you will get a 10% to 15% discount, the discount applies to all items without a minimum purchase in a week, this Rabbani Plaju Palembang shop is always available at the end of the year. 50% discount promo program but only for existing member cards. According to sharia economic law, discounts in member cards are allowed
