Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Group Investigation learning model on students' motivation to learn biology at MA Al-Islam Kemuja. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research design using a correlation design. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 60 students, namely 30 students in class XA and 30 students in class XB. This study used 2 class samples, namely class XA as the experimental class and class XB as the control class. Data collection techniques were carried out by providing motivational questionnaires and documentation. After the data is obtained from the research results, the data will be analyzed using the product moment correlation technique with the percentage of TSR. This technique is used to determine the truth of the hypothesis of the study. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence from the application of the Group Investigation model on students' motivation to learn biology at MA Al-Islam Kemuja. This can be seen from the results of the t-test, namely 14,44 ˃ 2,04. The t 0 value obtained is greater than the t table , so Ha is accepted and H 0 is rejected.
