Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the effect of reputation and E-WOM on students' decisions to enroll at Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Indralaya, South Sumatra. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling with a total population of 200 students and the sample in the study obtained was 133 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) using the SmartPLS 3 program. The results of this study indicate that part there is a significant influence between the ReputationAl-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Indralaya with a T-Value of 2.674 so that the value is more than 1.96 as a cut-off value. This means that the higher the implementation of the strategy by maintaining a good name, highlighting excellence, making it easier for the public to remember Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Indralaya, and improving good service through social media, the more students enroll in Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Indralaya. Then the E-WOM variable on students' decisions to enroll in PP Al-Ittifaqiah proved to be partially significant with a T-value of more than 1.96, namely 3.923. This means that the higher the implementation of E-WOM, the more students enroll in Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School. Simultaneously the reputation Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School and E-WOM on students' decisions to enroll in the F-count (22.03) > Ftable (3.08). This means that the higher the implementation of the strategy by increasing the reputation of PP Al-Ittifaqiah and E-WOM on social media, the higher the number of students enrolling in PP Al-Ittifaqiah. Based on the results of this study, show it shows that Reputation and E-WOM can be applied in promoting PP Al-Ittifaqiah through social media torease the number of students who register at the Islamic boarding school.
