Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dengan Nomophobia pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 172 siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala FoMO dan skala Nomophobia. Menggunakan teknik analisa data Pearson’s Product Moment dengan bantuan JASP versi 17 for windows. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.503 dengan signifikansi 0,001 dimana p < 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara Fear of Missing Out dengan Nomophobia pada siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang.
