Abstract
This study discusses the meaning of life in former drug users at YPRN Ar-Rahman Palembang. In this study the method used is phenomenological qualitative method. The subjects in this study were 3 men, with the criteria as former drug users who had been rehabilitated, were currently in the OJT (On Job Training) phase or program, were male and willing to be participants in the study. Former drug users and with different backgrounds. Furthermore, data collection methods in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. The meaningfulness of life for former drug users who are in rehabilitation can be realized by accepting the situation and being aware of the actions they have committed and being able to live their daily lives in rehabilitation. And believe that behind the misery there is incomparable happiness. As well as the enthusiasm to live out his days while being rehabilitated. Grateful for the blessings given by God to former drug users to be able to change themselves for the better through rehabilitation. The results of the study showed that the three subjects were able to get through their dark times until they were able to rise to be even better when they were rehabilitated. As well as the subject has goals, desires and great hopes when he comes out of rehabilitation. Keywords: Meaning of life, Former Drug Users, Rehabilitation
