Abstract
This study discusses the Adversity Quotient of single parent in Palembang. This research uses a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that in general, the two subjects (D and A) have a description of the adversity quotient. The description of the adversity quotient that appears based on the research results is an attitude of responsibility, optimism, hard work and family dynamics. What is obtained based on the dimensions adversity quotient. There are three factors that influence the adversity quotient of a single father, namely the existence of motivation, family support and belief in God. With the existence of these three factors, the subject raises a picture of the adversity quotient on a single father.
