Abstract
Abstract This research is motivated by the problem of the happiness of students when participating in the activities of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah Order. Happiness is not only in the form of wealth, but closer to Allah SWT. The purpose of this study was to determine the reality of happiness among the students of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah Order at the Sabilul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School in the perspective of Al-Ghazali's eudemonism. The research method in this thesis is examined by qualitative research, namely field research (Field Research). The research method and approach used case studies and a psychotherapeutic tasawuf approach. Data sources, namely 1. Primary data (Mursyid and santri), 2. Secondary data (sources or references related to this research). Furthermore, data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Finally, data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study found that what encouraged the students or congregation of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah Congregation at the Sabilul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School to join the tarekat was a. internal factors, because of the sincere intentions of his conscience, Meanwhile b. external factors, not because of his conscience, but for causes such as friends and family. Whereas in the perspective of “eudemonism Al-Ghazali” sees that in achieving happiness is 1. knowing oneself, 2. knowing Allah SWT, 3. knowing the world and 4. knowing the hereafter. The happiness of the santri is obtained when after being sworn in by the Mursyid. In addition, Mursyid performs the tawajjuhan routine so that students are always calm and feel happy.
