Abstract
Abstract This study aims to determine the political ethics of Abu Bakar As-Siddiq's leadership in the reflection of Franz Magnis Suseno's theory of freedom and moral responsibility. This type of research is library (Library Research). The type of data used is qualitative. The data sources used are primary and secondary data sources, the primary data source is a book by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi with his book entitled Biography of Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq and a book by Franz Magnis Suseno namely Political Ethics Principles of Modern State, Ethics Basic Issues of Moral, Power and Moral Philosophy, and Franz Magnis Suseno's book Figure and Thoughts, while secondary data namely sources that are relevant to this research. Data collection techniques using collection. And analysis of descriptive interpretation data. The results of this study are that a leader can carry out the existential freedom he has as a leader which is the ability to determine himself and the highest deliberately by society and can be limited by coercion and pressure on psychosocial Abu Bakar As-Siddiq as Limit leader. And the existential freedom that Abu Bakar As-Siddiq applied to the implementation of policies implemented when he became a leader does not mean that by itself Abu Bakar As-Siddiq gives social freedom to the community. That Abu Bakar As�Siddiq is burdened with the responsibility to fill the space for freedom and the moral responsibility for freedom is meaningful.
