Abstract
Abstract The current environmental crisis can only be overcome by fundamentally and radically changing human perspectives and behavior towards nature. A lifestyle is needed that does not only concern individuals but also society as a whole. According to sonny keraf, the human perspective on nature creates wr ong behavior towards nature. Starti ng from the ethics of antropocentrism which views humans as the center of the universe, and only humans have value, while nature and everything in it is a means and satisfaction of the interests and needs of human life. This study uses a hermeneutic approach. As for the data sources from the results of this study, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary sources are the results of the policiesof the south sumatra forest service, people who play a role in the forestry service and people who will be intervie wed. Secondary data is a variety of literature and documents related to this research. The conclusionsfrom this research is that the policies of the forestry service and the paradigm offered by Sonny Keraf have the same goal, namely to prevent ecological crises, where to prevent sustainable environmental damage. The forestry service froms an organization that is connected to the government to prevent forest fires by forming related organizations, carry out annual routine activities, approach and monitor hotspots in fire-prone areas.
