Abstract

This thesis is entitled Awareness of Cleanliness in Residents of Flats RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang City. In this study, we would like to reveal how the condition of the flats of RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang City, how are the factors that influence environmental awareness, and how is the awareness of environmental cleanliness in the residents of flats RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang City. This study aims to determine the environmental conditions of flats RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang City, the factors that influence environmental awareness and how awareness of environmental cleanliness is in the residents of flats RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang City. This research is in the form of field research, using qualitative methods. Namely by observation, interviews, documentation. While the technique used in data analysis is qualitative description analysis. The results of this study indicate that the environmental conditions in flats RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang city look comfortable, there is rarely trash scattered around the environment, there are clothes that are dried in the sun but not much and do not fill in every front and back of the house, the walls of the flats too still looks very good because there is no moss or damage. Factors affecting environmental awareness in the occupants of the flats of RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang City were affected by the occurrence of DHF which attacked the occupants of the flats and since then the PEMDA has carried out total environmental hygiene and since then the occupants of the flats of RT 31 Kelurahan 24 Ilir Palembang City keeping the environment clean so as not to be infected with dangerous diseases again.
