Abstract

This research is entitled "The Contribution of the Mosque Brigade in Fostering the Religious Activities of Mosque Youth in Kemuning District, Palembang". This research aims to find out how the mosque brigade contributes to fostering the religious activities of mosque youth in Kemuning District, Palembang and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors experienced by the mosque brigade in contributing to fostering the religious activities of mosque youth in Kemuning District, Palembang. This research uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it shows that the contribution of the mosque brigade in fostering the religious activities of mosque youth can be seen through the coaching activities held by the mosque brigade itself and BKPRMI which are aimed at fostering an attitude of prospering the mosque, becoming good cadres, and being able to preach through social attitudes in society. The supporting factors provided include uniform attributes, complete facilities, and a schedule of activities on holidays. The inhibiting factors are the small number of Brigade members, and other activities experienced by members on the activity schedule.
