Abstract

Penyusutan arsip menggunakan teori berupa pemusnahan arsip, pemindahan arsip, penyerahan arsip dan pengalih mediakan arsip. Penelitian ini membahas evaluasi penyusutan arsip pada akuisisi arsip tekstual di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui cara penyusutan arsip dan tahapan akuisisi arsip tekstual di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi dilakukan pada 3 pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang berkecimpung dalam pengelolaan arsip. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyusutan arsip di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah berupa pemusnahan arsip, pemindahan arsip, penyerahan arsip dan pengalih medikan arsip. Akuisisi arsip dengan membuat tim pelaksana arsip kemudian melakukan beberapa tahapan. Hambatan-hambatan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: masih sedikitnya arsip yang dialih medikan, akuisisi arsip masih belum sepenuhnya dilakukan karena terbatasnya tenaga kerja yang paham akan proses akuisisi arsip, masih terbatasnya pegawai yang memang berada di bidang pengelolaan arsip. kesimpulannya, penyusutan arsip yang sudah dilakukan sangat baik, melaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah ditentukan. Pegawai juga mampu merahasiakan informasi arsip yang akan dilakukan penyusutan arsip sehingga proses penyusutan tidak terjadinya kendala. Archive shrinkage uses the theory of destroying archives, transferring archives, handing over archives and transferring archive media. This research examined the evaluation of archive depreciation in the acquisition of textual archives at the South Sumatra Provincial Education Office. The aim of this research is to find out how archives are depreciated and the stages of acquisition of textual archives. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of the research showed that archive depreciation at the South Sumatra Provincial Education Service was carried out using steps in the form of destroying archives, transferring archives, handing over archives and diverting archives. Acquisition of archives is done by creating an archives implementation team and then carrying out several stages. The obstacles in this research are in those of very few archives being transferred to medical personnel, archive acquisition is still not fully carried out because of limited workers who understand the archive acquisition process and there are still limited employees who are in the field of archive management. In conclusion, the archive depreciation that has been carried out is very good in accordance with predetermined procedures. Employees are also able to keep archive information confidential when depreciating archives will be carried out so that the depreciation process does not encounter problems.
