Abstract
(Case Study: Laboratory Section of Sma Srijaya Negara Palembang)Laboratories for schools are very important for the good learning process of students and students, if the school laboratory is not managed properly and correctly, it will cause a complex problem, especially for the learning process, therefore a data management platform is needed, the laboratory has equipment to support the needs of students in doing assignments from teachers, such as CPU, LCD, Monitor, Sound, Projector, musical instruments, dance equipment, Biology, Chemistry, Physics Practicum tools. The Infrastructure Facilities Section of the School has the task of assisting the Principal in carrying out activities related to the recording of goods, stock items, tools, and Laboratory schedules. as well as the reports. In addition, the existence of a Special Website for Laboratories in Schools can facilitate the collection of data on goods, data collection of stock items, tools and Laboratory schedules at Schools. The process of procuring damaged or lost items that occur at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang is still done conventionally so that the process takes a long time. In this study to overcome this, an information system is needed to support decisions that can help and make data collection of goods, data collection of stock items, tools and Laboratory schedules will be inputted and accessed easily, quickly and accurately by all School devices, especially in the Facilities and Infrastructure section. To build this information system, tools are needed, including the selection of software used by Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), and the database using MySQL. The system development method used is Prototype. Analysis and design tools used are Unified Modeling Language (UML), and database design using Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). and databases using MySQL, testing methods using Blackbox testing.
