Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence has undergone significant advances along with technological advancements, so its use in knowledge management has become increasingly important. AI offers solutions that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of information management, assisting organizations in capturing, sharing, discovering, and maintaining knowledge. The implementation of AI has the potential to improve knowledge management practices in innovative ways, including in the collection, storage, and distribution of knowledge. AI is also capable of analyzing big data and providing recommendations that support strategic decisions This research aims to identify the impact of AI on knowledge management practices, including emerging opportunities and challenges. By understanding these issues, better strategies can be formulated to utilize AI in the context of knowledge management. This research approach uses literature studies to collect and analyze data from various relevant literature. This method provides in-depth insights into the best practices, challenges, and developments of AI and knowledge management. Data analysis is carried out using deductive methods, starting from general knowledge to more specific knowledge. The results of the study are the impact of AI on the Knowledge Management Process, AI enables automation in information collection and storage. AI can improve data accessibility and analysis to support better decision-making by providing data-driven insights and decision-support systems. AI improves knowledge management efficiency by automating routine processes, improving information retrieval, and providing in-depth data analysis. AI also allows for the personalization of the user experience, which contributes to better adoption of the technology. The implementation of AI in several libraries, both in the world and in Indonesia, has successfully integrated AI to improve user experience and operational efficiency. For example, libraries in the world, including in Indonesia, use natural language processing technology and chatbots to improve services and information management. Conclusion AI has great potential to improve the efficiency of knowledge management in various organizations including libraries. With process automation, improved information search, and deep data analysis, AI can help organizations be more responsive to business challenges. However, challenges such as technology infrastructure and data security need to be addressed to ensure the successful integration of AI in knowledge management.
