Abstract

Name: Muhammad Fajri Adha, NIM ۲٠٠٤٠١٠٢٠ Thesis with the title form and indexical meaning in Qasidah Ilzam Bab Robbak by Imam Abdullah bin Alawi Al-Haddad (Charles Sanders Peirce semiotic analysis). Arabic Language and Literature Thesis. Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, ٢٠٢٤/١٤٤٦ H. This study analyzes the form and meaning of indexical signs in the lyrics of qasidah Ilzam Bab Robbak by Imam Abdullah bin Alawi Al-Haddad using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach. Each stanza in this qasidah contains indexical signs that indicate a spiritual connection with Allah, acceptance of destiny, and understanding of changes and disturbances in life. Through this analysis, it is found that "God's door" symbolizes the spiritual relationship, while fitnah, life's trials, and changes are likened to challenges that must be faced with patience and faith in God. In conclusion, this qasidah teaches the importance of focusing on God's teachings, seeking protection from fitnah, and accepting destiny with serenity.
