Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is entitled “Optimizing Digital Qris-Based Services To Increase The Acquisition Of Infaq And Sadaqah Funds In The Qris Indonesian Zakat Initiative (IZI) Palembang City”. With society's increasing dependence on digital technology, it is hoped that QRIS can simplify the donation process and increase public participation in charity activities. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews with policy makers and IZI staff as well as through documentation. The research results show that QRIS has been implemented but is not fully optimal. Fluctuations in receiving funds through QRIS can be seen from the data which shows a decline in 2023 and 2024. However, this digitalization makes it easy for people to donate anytime and anywhere, with the potential to increase participation by up to 50%. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, limited access to technology, and long periods of time for receiving funds are still obstacles. Public perception of QRIS is generally positive, although there are groups who are doubtful, especially among the elderly. This research recommends increasing education and outreach, active promotion, integration of traditional and digital donation methods, as well as regular monitoring and evaluation to optimize the use of QRIS in fundraising.
