Abstract
ABSTRACT Progress smartphone technology to make children who live and grow in this advanced era of demanding parents did not hesitate to give the gadget they want. The use of smartphones today is very concern especially among children today can not be separated with the name of a smartphone. To anticipate that the parents should be intelligently provides an understanding of the use of smartphones to their children by providing applications or games that contain values education. Natural science is a lesson that is somewhat difficult to understand for children. Then the required media or the right tool for this one with a teaching tool. Computer Aided Instruction is the application of common knowledge as a teaching tool of the general knowledge. Development of teaching tools using Waterfall system development method which consists of five stages: comunication, planning, modeling, constuction, and deployment. Implementation of natural science teaching tool is for student teachers and classroom teachers to use the website, while the implementation of the teaching tool for students using smartphone with android operating system. The results of this research will help teachers and parents to educate children to take advantage of smart phone with a better way and children can learn anywhere and anytime by using their smartphones without misuse.
