Abstract
ABSTRACT This thesis which was titled “Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah di SD Negeri 1 Sinar Harapan Mulya Kecamatan Teluk Gelam Ogan Komering Ilir”. The head master’s leadership style which is used to interact with the teachers. Whether the goodness or the weakness of an organization some times is caused by the leader. A leadership can be seen in the process while directing, guiding, influencing or supervising the others, thinking, feeling or attitude. There for in the relationship with the school organization, the head master is the leader who has the highest responsibility in deciding the work of school organization by encouraging and directing all of the members. In doing the organization of the process of the head master’s leading should be supported by personal, such as administrates, teachers, and counselor who are professional, and also supported by complete education equipment, facilitate, media, and enough source for studying whether the amount or the fund, well management and supported environment. This research told about the style of a head master, ability in guiding and influencing human resource at SD Negeri 1 Sinar Harapan Mulya. The goal of this research was to know the description of the head master’s leadership style, and to know how he guided and influenced the human resource at SD Negeri 1 Sinar Harapan Mulya Kecamatan Teluk Gelam Ogan Komering Ilir. In order to know the result of this research, the writer used qualitative approach so that the analysis technical was done descriptively and the technical to collect the data was done through observation intense interview, documentation, and triangulation. The information of this research was got by some sources or participants, committee, teachers, society and administrator. The research sources which was taken certain. People who has been considered and worked like had already understood certain people only. Based on the research, the writer concluded, first: the leadership style of the head master at SD Negeri 1 Sinar Harapan Mulya adopted transformational leadership style, second: the head master’s leadership which was looked from the abilities to guide the human resource in the process of doing the work program had been done gradually and appropriate to POAC (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling) and the head master usually became the inspiring person and was able to ask the human resource on solving the problem at school, third: the head master’s leadership looked from how he influenced had tried to interact with all whether internally or externally.
