Abstract

This research aims to find out is there the effect of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education approach toward mathematical problem solving ability of student. This study use experimental methods in the type of Posttest Only Control Design. This study took two class by using cluster sampling technique. VIII.5 as an experiment class and it was using an indonesian Reaslistic Mathematics Education approach and VIII.6 as a control class and it was using conventional. The data collection used mathematical problem solving ability test. The data obtained from the testsused to test of research hypothesis by using t-test. From analysis result obtained tratio =4,7265 and ttable = 1,66629 by = 0,05 what meant tratio > ttable. The suggest that Ha accepted that there is a influence of Indonesian Reaslistic Mathematics Education approach to mathematical problem solving ability of student activity after student studied opportunity by using Indonesian Reaslistic Mathematics Education approach.
