Abstract
This research is to find out the relationship between the application of the concept of adiwiyata school and the concern of students majoring in science on the environment in Palembang State High School 3. The study was conducted in November 2018. The method used in this study was quantitative descriptive. Determination of respondents usingpurposive samplingmethod. The data collection instrument used inthis studyis a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements about the concept of adiwiyata school (Variable X) and 20 statements about student environmental awareness (Variable Y). The data analysis technique used in this study used correlation analysis and simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 16.0. Thus the hypothesis states "There is a relationship between the application of the concept of adiwiyata school and environmental concern in students of Palembang State High School 3 science major" accepted, evidenced by the results of simple linear regression between variables X and Y variables, obtained Fcount 13.603 and Ftable 3.93 obtained from the studyof the distribution list Ftable with N = 105, at a significant level of 5%, thus it can be known that Fcount ≥ Ftable, or 13.603 ≥ 3.93 then Ho is rejected, so the hypothesis in thisstudy is accepted. The conclusion is that the results of the statistical tests in this study get a p value (0,000) ≤ a value (0.05), meaning that there is a relationship between the application of the concept of adiwiyata school and environmental care for students majoring in science at Palembang State High School
