Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of scientific approach to the results of learning mathematics students of class VII MTs Nurul Amal Pancasila Pemulutan Ilir district Ogan Ilir. The design of this research used experimental method with posttest only control group design. The research population was all students of class VII which amounted to 183 students while for sampling using random sampling technique so that it was obtained by students of class VII.1 as experimental class and class VII. 2 as the control class. Technique of collecting data used by test with data analysis using t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is influence of scientific approach to the results of learning mathematics students of class VII MTs Nurul Amal Pancasila Pemulutan Ilir district Ogan Ilir, this is evidenced from the results of hypothesis testing obtained sig value (0.023) smaller than the value of α (0.05) then Ha accepted.
