Abstract
This research aimed to develop student worksheetsbased on the cultural context of the Rambang tribe on set subject that fulfills validity and practicality to help students understand. The research used Tessmer's research design. with formative evaluation consisting of self evaluation, one to one, small group, and field test. Data collection was done by using instrument sheet and post test. The subject of this study was 3 students from 7thgrade of class, 6 students from VII. 1 and 25 students from VII. 1. Through the stageobtained the conclusion that the student worksheets based on the context of the culture of Rambang tribe was valid based on the comments and advice given by experts and practically based on the results of the instrument sheet at one to one, small group, and field test with almost entirely practical. Students are able to understand the subject of set based on post test results in small group was obtained average student score isof 92,01 with very good criteria and the post test result at field test was obtained average student value is of 83,75 with very good criteria.
