Abstract
The aims of the study were to find out the relationships between learner’s autonomy and reading comprehension of the eleventh grade students of SMA NU Palembang. The study was in the form of correlational research method. The population of the study was 143 active students of SMA NU Palembang. By using convenience sampling technique, there were 70 students involved as participants in this research. The data were gained by using two kind of test, questionnaire test and reading comprehension test. Descriptive statistics, Pearson product moment correlation were employed to analyze the data. From the data analyses, it was found that there was no a correlation between the students’ learners’ autonomy and their reading comprehension (p-value.579>.005). As the result the second problem was eliminated. In short, reading comprehension did not have any relation to students’ learners’ autonomy.
