Abstract
This research and development aimed to produce ICT-based mathematics learning media on the cones subject that meet the validity and practicality to help students to understand cone subject. This research was used Tessmer's research design. Tessmer's research design consisted of formative evaluations which included self evaluations, expert reviews, one-to-one, small groups, and field tests. The data were collected by using instrument sheet, post test and worksheets. The subjects of this study were 3 students of class IX.2, 6 students of class IX.3 and 30 students of class IX.5. Through the Tessmer phase, it was concluded that ICT-based learning media on the subject of the cone produced valid media based on comments and suggestions given by media experts, subject experts and students, practically based on the results of the instrument sheets at one to one phase with good criteria, at the small phase group with very good criteria and at the field test phase with very good criteria. Students are able to understand the cone subject based on the post test results of the small group phase that have 86.07 as an average of students score with very good criteria and post test results at the field test phase obtained 97 as the average of the students score with very good criteria and the worksheets results at the field test phase obtained 93.33 as the average of the students score with very good criteria.
