The purpose of the study was to describe the characteristics of the tahfiz program of the Religious Laboratory of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences of Raden Fatah State Islamic University of Palembang. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach until the data source was selected by purposive sampling, which was based on certain considerations. The techniques of data collection used were observation, interviews, documentation and analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/ verification. The results of the study found that planning, implementing, organizing, monitoring and evaluating the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an program of the Religious Laboratory was well structured in developing the potential of students in memorizing the Al-Qur'an.
