Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is influence of the Problem Posing model on mathematical problem solving abilities of class X students at Nurul Iman High School Palembang. The type of research used is pre-experimental design with the design of one group pretest-posttest design, the population used is all students of class X in SMA Nurul Iman Palembang consisting of 35 students and all students used as samples, with sampling using saturated sampling. This research was conducted in five meetings. 5 meetings, the first meeting to carry out the pretest. The second meeting carried out learning using a problem posing model about identifying problems related to SPLDV and making mathematical models related to SPLDV, at the third meeting discussing solving problems involving SPLDV with graphical methods and methods of elimination, and the fourth meeting discussing the problem solving involves SPLDV with substitution and combination (substitution elimination). While the fifth meeting carried out the Posttest. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that students' mathematical problem solving abilities while using the problem posing model obtained
