Abstract
Difficulties in online learning that occur in students during the covid'19 pandemic are important things to pay attention to, because these online learning difficulties can cause students' abilities to decline. There are many ways to minimize online learning difficulties, one of which is to increase interest in learning. This study aims to determine the relationship between interest in learning and learning difficulties. This research method is correlational quantitative. The subjects of this study were 100 respondents with the characteristics of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Makarti Jaya who were selected using simple random sampling technique. There were 49 male respondents or 49% and 51 female respondents or 51%. The instrument used is a Likert scale, namely learning difficulties and learning interest. The data analysis method used to test the hypothesis is Spearman Rank analysis. All calculations were carried out with the help of SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Scient) version 25 for windows. The results of this study are evidenced by the correlation coefficient value of 0.653 with a significance value of 0.000 where p <0.05, which means that the significant level of correlation is strong, from these results it can be seen that there is a relationship between learning interest and online learning difficulties in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Makati Jaya.
