Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction in adolescent girls at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang with the number of research subjects, at 161 female students. Data collection uses a social comparison scale and a body dissatisfaction scale. This research uses correlational quantitative method with Pearson’s Product Moment analysis. The results of research revealed that there was a significant relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction in adolescent girls at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang, this was evidenced by the correlation coefficient r=0.639 (p<0.05), meaning that the higher the social comparison, the higher the sense of belonging dissatisfied with the body condition of female students at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang.
