Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Loose Part Media on Early Childhood Pre-Writing Ability in Group B in Tebing Tinggi District”. This type of research is quasi-experimental or commonly called quasi-experimental. The NonEquivalent Group Design. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of loose part media on pre-writing abilities of early childhood. The samples used in this study were 10 children in group B in TK Molaya as an experimental class and 10 children in group B in TK Athaya as a control class. Collecting data using initial observations before being given treatment, a test in the form of a score that is carried out to find out the results after being given treatment (treatment) and documentation in the form of photos. The data analysis technique used in this study used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results of data analysis in proving the hypothesis using SPSS for Windows software obtained a significant level of 0.000 which is smaller than the significant value (probability) of 0.05. In this case tcount > ttable means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of loose part media on the pre-writing ability of early childhood in Group B in Tebing Tinggi District Keywords: Loose Part Media, Children's Pre-Writing
