Abstract
E-module or electronic module is a module in digital form, which consists of text, images, or both containing digital electronic material which is expected to help students in learning activities both at school and independently. This research aims to determine the validity and practicality of electronic module learning media (e-modules). In the process, this research uses the Tessmer and Rowntree development model where the data collection technique uses the walkthrough method which aims to validate data to experts including linguists, media experts and material experts, as well as data collection techniques with questionnaires aimed at getting practical results from students. After doing the validity test from the experts, the results were 89% and categorized as valid, while the practicality test conducted in class VII C MTs 01 OKU obtained an average final result of 86% which can be categorized that the media created is very practical and suitable for use in schools. It can be concluded that the electronic module learning media (e-module) in the class VII SMP/MTs classification of living things is feasible to be used to help students in learning activities and can increase students' interest and motivation to learn.
