Abstract
This study aims to fine out the relationship between self-control with internet addiction in Students of Shailendra Palembang High School. This research method is correlational quantitative. The population in this study was 154 students at Shailendra Palembang High School with a sample of 111 students taken by sampling purposive technique. The data collection instruments used were self-control scale and internet addiction scale. Using the Pearson Product Moment data analysis technique with the help of SPSS Version 25.0 for windows. Based on the data analysis, a correlation coefficient of -0.838 with a significance of 0.000 was obtained where p <0.05. The results of this study show that there is a very significant negative relationship between self-control with internet addiction in Students of Shailendra Palembang High School.
